Basketball Recap: San Gorgonio Comes Up Short

San Gorgonio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Rialto Knights, falling 86-7. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1209th, while the Knights are ranked 45th).

San Gorgonio's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Rialto, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

San Gorgonio has already played their next contest, a 72-29 defeat against Colton on the 24th. As for Rialto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-29 win against Eisenhower on the 24th.
