Soccer Game Preview: Long County vs. Johnson

The Long County Blue Tide will head out on the road to square off against the Johnson Atomsmashers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Long County's favor is that they have posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.

Johnson better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Long County really get things going. Long County was the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Savannah Christian on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Johnson kept a clean sheet against Vidalia on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians.

Waswa Drajoru was the driving force of Johnson's attack as he scored both of Johnson's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Long County's record is now 3-0. As for Johnson, their record is now 5-3.

Long County was able to grind out a solid victory over Johnson in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Long County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Johnson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
