Softball Recap: Tift County Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Tift County's victory against Colquitt County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils skirted past the Packers 10-9. The win was nothing new for the Blue Devils as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ella Bruce was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Lily Robinson was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Tift County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Tift County's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Colquitt County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Looking ahead, Tift County will be playing at home against Coffee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colquitt County, they will head out to face off against Cook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
