Parkway Center City had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 49-17 victory over the Parkway Northwest Hoyas. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Parkway Center City to victory were Peyton Heath-Owens and London Fisher. Heath-Owens went 10 for 18 on her way to 21 points, while Fisher went 8 of 14 en route to 16 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Heath-Owens has scored at least a third of Parkway Center City's points.

Parkway Center City's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Parkway Northwest, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway Center City will take on Constitution at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway Northwest, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Paul Robeson at 3:15 p.m. on January 22nd.
