Basketball Recap: Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Picks Up 15th Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 51-17 win over the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus had a senior duo take command as Karen F posted 23 points in addition to six assists and four steals and Metzly D scored 18 points along with four blocks and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points D has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isis B, who earned six points and three steals.

Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emily Barajas, who put up eight points, and Heidi Lombera, who had seven points.
