Softball Recap: Lovett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lovett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-6 to the North Springs Spartans.

Riley Gallagher was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Audrey Lutz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Lovett's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for North Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lovett will venture away from home to face off against Parkview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Springs, they will head out to take on St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
