Baseball Game Preview: Bishop McDevitt Crusaders vs. Red Land Patriots

The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders will head out to face off against the Red Land Patriots at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bishop McDevitt is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Oley Valley just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 8-5 to the Lynx.

Meanwhile, Red Land didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Cliff on Friday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Colts: they've now lost five in a row.

Red Land saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Brenner, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Red Land's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bishop McDevitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Bishop McDevitt couldn't quite finish off Red Land in their previous matchup back in April and fell 9-7. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
