Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hillcrest Christian and St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hillcrest Christian had to settle for second. They were beaten by the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors 69-7. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hillcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Hillcrest Christian nor St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy have any future games scheduled.
