Georgia high school football: Week 6 schedule, scores

Mill Creek to host Parkview in matchup of top 10 squads.

This week's high school football schedule in Georgia is headlined by Mill Creek (Hoschton) facing Parkview (Lilburn) on Friday night.

With an offense that averages more than 44 points per game and a defense allowing less than 18 points per game, Mill Creek has raced through opponents, winning every game by at least three touchdowns, including a 56-35 victory over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood) last week.

Parkview pitched its second shutout of the season in a 48-0 victory over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta) on Friday. Led by senior Clemson commit Michael Matthews at wide receiver and senior running back Trelain Maddox, the Panthers are putting up nearly 47 points a game.

In another matchup of state-ranked teams, No. 24 North Cobb (Kennesaw) meets No. 14 Milton. North Cobb comes in with a 2-2 record that includes a loss to Buford, which is ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 6 nationally. Milton is 3-1 with consecutive wins over Roswell and Alpharetta.



No. 4 Langston Hughes (Fairburn) will host Douglas County (Douglasville), which sits right outside of the top 25 with a 4-0 record. Douglas County is coming off a 50-8 win over Alexander (Douglasville).
