Football Game Preview: Allegany Campers vs. Northern Garrett Huskies + How To Watch

Allegany is 9-1 against Northern Garrett since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Campers will head out to challenge the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Allegany will be strutting in after a win while Northern Garrett will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Allegany didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Keyser, but they still walked away with a 26-21 victory. The Campers haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornado recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Allegany got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amanni Blowe out in front who rushed for 66 yards and two scores. Khiante Bible helped out on the ground, rushing for 130 yards.

Meanwhile, Northern Garrett didn't have quite enough to beat Mountain Ridge on Friday and fell 17-14.

Allegany will have to contain Landon Yoder as he made an impact in Northern Garrett's last game. He rushed for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 100 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Allegany's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Northern Garrett, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Allegany was able to grind out a solid victory over Northern Garrett when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 34-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Campers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
