Basketball Recap: Kensington Comes Up Short

Kensington extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 4-9. They fell 28-16 to Carver High School of Engineering & Science. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the KENSINGTON TIGER couldn't quite close it out.

As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their win bumped their record up to 3-12. That looming 28-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Desiray Zepp, who posted 11 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Zepp has scored at least a third of Carver High School of Engineering & Science's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalynn Kensey, who scored eight points.

As of now, neither Kensington nor Carver High School of Engineering & Science have any future games scheduled.
