Softball Recap: Okemah Comes Up Short

Okemah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cushing Tigers, falling 8-1.

Okemah's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cushing, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Okemah has already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Memorial on the 21st. As for Cushing, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-3 defeat against Hominy on the 23rd.
