Soccer Recap: Central Starts off Right with Win over Trinity Christian

Central had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Central Lions who were credited with the victory. The Central Lions got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Trinity Christian Lions's four. For Central, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win Trinity Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Alexander at 7:15 p.m. on February 21st. As for Trinity Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Trinity Christian face off against the Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
