Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Benton walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 15-7 victory. Considering the Panthers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Benton, bringing their record up to 24-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Greene County Tech, they moved to 25-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Benton nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
