The Walker Wolverines will face off against the St. Francis Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Walker is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Walker is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Fellowship Christian.

Joaquin Santos was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Grant Addison was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Francis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let The Weber School get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Monday.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Walker, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Walker beat St. Francis 7-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
