Football Recap: Elk River Falls Short Against Ranked Alexandria

Elk River faced Alexandria in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Elks were beaten by the Cardinals 52-16. The Elks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

Despite the defeat, Elk River had strong showings from Dylan Ramert, who rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown, and Caleb Healy, who rushed for 63 yards and one TD. Ramert was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
