Softball Game Preview: Gainesville Red Elephants vs. Roswell Hornets

Gainesville hasn't had much luck against Roswell recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Red Elephants will venture away from home to square off against the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Gainesville has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gainesville's offense. They lost 15-0 to Seckinger on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Roswell waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 4-1.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Roswell, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Gainesville suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Roswell in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Red Elephants avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
