            Softball Recap: Kearney Bearcats vs. Lincoln East Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            Kearney faced Lincoln East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bearcats narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Spartans  12-11. Winning may never get old, but the Bearcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team  relied heavily on  Kennedy Lee, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Greeley Cargill was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
