Lincoln Southwest is a perfect 10-0 against Norfolk since August of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Silver Hawks will be taking part in a tournament against the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Lincoln Southwest will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Norfolk's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Thursday: Lincoln Southwest hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Silver Hawks never let Lincoln High get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Silver Hawks, who have now won 22 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bryn Pribnow looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Taylor Siefken was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Ashley Jucht, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Lincoln Southwest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.

Norfolk came out on top against Papillion-LaVista South on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Panthers took their contest against the Titans 9-6.

Lincoln Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Norfolk, their win bumped their record up to 16-20.

Everything went Lincoln Southwest's way against Norfolk in their previous matchup on Saturday, as Lincoln Southwest made off with a 12-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
