Volleyball Recap: Davenport West Takes a Loss

Davenport West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Independence Mustangs. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Davenport West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Independence, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

Davenport West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Williamsburg on the 27th. As for Independence, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Dubuque Senior on the 27th.
