Football Recap: Union Area Comes Up Short

Union Area lost against Washington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scotties might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-6 to the Prexies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Scotties have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Washington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Area will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Western Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Washington, they will head out to face off against Waynesburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Prexies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
