Football Recap: Willmar Comes Up Short on the Road Against Fergus Falls

Willmar kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 21-13 to the Fergus Falls Otters. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Otters apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2018.

Coming up, Willmar will welcome Mound-Westonka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fergus Falls, they will head out on the road to take on Detroit Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Otters' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
