Soccer Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah lost against Sprayberry back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sequoyah fell just short of Sprayberry by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Sequoyah can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Sprayberry are ranked 49th).

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Sprayberry, their record is now 7-1.

Sequoyah has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Creekview on the 20th. As for Sprayberry, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Wheeler on the 18th.
