Softball Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Treutlen Vikings.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Treutlen, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Jefferson County will challenge Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Treutlen, they will face off against Telfair County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season.
