Basketball Recap: Upper Moreland Takes a Loss

Upper Moreland lost against Lower Moreland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Upper Moreland Bears fell 61-54 to the Lower Moreland Lions. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Lions are ranked 168th).

Upper Moreland dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Lower Moreland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Upper Moreland will be playing at home against Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lower Moreland has already played their next game (against Faith Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
