Lindsay is 9-1 against Tioga since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lindsay Knights will square off against the Tioga Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lindsay is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They lost 56-36 to Slidell on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since December 28, 2024.

Meanwhile, Tioga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Collinsville 85-38. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1136th, while the Pirates are ranked 347th).

Tioga's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Lindsay, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.

Lindsay strolled past Tioga when the teams last played on January 7th by a score of 54-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindsay since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
