There's no place like home for Colfax, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-34 win over the Center Cougars on Friday. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Adam Amatangelo threw for 227 yards and a pair of TDs on only 17 passes. Josiah Rubidoux was his top target, picking up 134 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Graeson Howard rushed for 103 yards and two scores.

When it comes to explaining why Center lost, don't look at Sincere Howard. Despite the final result, he rushed for 56 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 23 yards and one TD. Wisdom Howard was in the mix too, providing the Cougars with two scores.

The victory snapped Colfax's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
