Basketball Recap: Alyssa Agpaoa and Alyssa Lewis Secure Win for Olympian

Olympian lost to Eastlake back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Olympian Eagles came out on top against the Eastlake Titans by a score of 58-51.

Leading Olympian to victory were Alyssa Lewis and Alyssa Agpaoa. Lewis went 6 of 15 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds, while Agpaoa posted 16 points and six assists. Agpaoa is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Emerie Purog, who had six points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Eastlake saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ari Ruperto almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Ava Ellorin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Olympian's record is now 4-5. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Olympian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-34 victory against Mission Vista on the 14th. As for Eastlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-36 loss against Christian on the 14th.
