After a string of four wins, Lindsay's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Duncan Demons by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in August.

Lindsay's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Duncan, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Lindsay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against McAlester on the 12th. As for Duncan, they have also already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Hilldale on the 13th.
