Etowah lost to Cherokee back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 11-3 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by six runs or more this season.

Etowah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Cherokee, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Etowah will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
