Baseball Recap: Collins Hill Extends Winning Streak to Three

Collins Hill waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Hunter Lee, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Collins Hill's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Ruben Balderas, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Collins Hill's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
