Softball Recap: Timnath Wins Going Away Against Mountain View

Timnath won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Friday too. The Cubs put the hurt on the Mountain Lions with a sharp 17-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Timnath and bumps their season record up to 6-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Mountain View, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Timnath is set to challenge their familiar foe Thompson Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will take on rival Roosevelt at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
