Softball Recap: Apalachee Takes a Loss

Apalachee fell victim to Loganville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost seven in a row.

Apalachee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Rudell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Loganville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apalachee will welcome Hebron Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loganville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarke Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
