Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Conaty-Loretto vs. St. Paul

The Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the St. Paul Swordsmen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Bishop Conaty-Loretto made easy work of San Gabriel Mission and carried off a 7-1 victory.

The Wildcats' offense was hitting the Pioneers from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Rachel Gonzalez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, St. Paul kept a clean sheet against St. Bernard on Thursday. They blew past the Vikings 9-0. The win continues a trend for St. Paul in their matchups with St. Bernard: they've now won nine in a row.

St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-2. As for Bishop Conaty-Loretto, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-3.
