Baseball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Putnam County Panthers. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Putnam County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

While Woodland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
