Baseball Recap: New Hampstead Takes a Loss

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Perry Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat on Friday.

New Hampstead saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briar Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

New Hampstead's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Perry, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. New Hampstead will take on rival Benedictine at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Perry is set to challenge their familiar foe Warner Robins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
