Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant lost against Fairfield last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Fairfield, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Wapello on the 21st. As for Fairfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Pekin on the 20th.
