Soccer Recap: East Union Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for East Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Patterson Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Patterson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriela Heredia, Emily Pires, and Alexa Bretao.

The win got East Union back to even at 5-5-1. As for Patterson, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3-2.

East Union will venture away from home to face off against Mountain House at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain House's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Patterson, they will be home for the holidays to greet Central Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Patterson is facing Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Central Catholic is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
