South Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 40-32 victory over the Hill City Ringnecks on Friday. The Timberwolves' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Easton Huck produced another solid performance rushing for 175 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 272 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Those 272 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Hill City still got an impressive performance from Tate Balthazor, who rushed for 157 yards and three scores, and also threw for 44 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Vincent Zohner was in the mix as well, providing the Ringnecks with two TDs.

South Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Hill City, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, South Central will challenge Lincoln on Saturday. The Timberwolves will need to watch out since the Leopards have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups. Hill City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
