Football Recap: Perham Comes Up Short

Perham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 20-13 to the Barnesville Trojans. While the Yellowjackets had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Trojans 7-0.

Perham now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Barnesville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perham is set to square off against their familiar foe Pillager at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Barnesville will challenge rival Staples-Motley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
