Softball Recap: Cedartown Gets the Win

Cedartown put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Woodland Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Cedartown's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Woodland, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Cedartown will be playing at home against Armuchee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodland, they will face off against Chapel Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
