Softball Recap: Tuttle Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Tuttle's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Cache Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Tuttle's win was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Cache, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuttle will challenge Charles Page at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Cache, they will square off against Duncan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
