Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lower Lake). They blew past the Maxwell Panthers 55-21 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Lower Lake has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Maxwell, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Lower Lake won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Upper Lake at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maxwell and Los Molinos will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Los Molinos' defense has only allowed 25.9 points per game this season, so Maxwell's offense will have their work cut out for them.
