Soccer Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison and Westlake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Edison had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Westlake Warriors. Considering the last time the Chargers couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Westlake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westlake, they will challenge Troy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westlake will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
