With a playoff win on the line, North Hall rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Heritage Generals a 10-0 shutout. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory (which was North Hall's eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 19-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Hall beat the Generals by a score of 6-2 later that day.
