Basketball Recap: Bravo Takes a Loss

Bravo lost against Marshall back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bravo Knights lost to the Marshall Barristers at home by a 45-27 margin. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Amaya Yanagita was a one-woman wrecking crew for Marshall as she posted 19 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarai R, who earned eight points along with nine rebounds and five steals.

Bravo's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Marshall, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Bravo will square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Marshall has already played their next game, a 51-48 win against Marymount on the 1st.
