Soccer Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Non Varsity Opponent back in August, Quincy came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Pershing County Mustangs on Friday. Quincy haven't had much luck with Pershing County recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pershing County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5-2.

Quincy has already played their next matchup, a 7-4 loss against Whittell on the 22nd. As for Pershing County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Dayton on the 23rd.
