Softball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Centennial Titans, falling 14-4.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Irving will challenge Pearce at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.54 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Centennial, they will face off against Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
