Soccer Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview lost against Clovis back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolf Pack fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Clovis are ranked eighth).

Ridgeview's goal came courtesy of Raymond Sanders, who's now up to two this season.

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Clovis, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Ridgeview has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Liberty on the 19th. As for Clovis, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Mission Oak on the 16th.
