Baseball Recap: East Laurens Comes Up Short

East Laurens lost against Academy for Classical Education back in February of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Laurens Falcons lost 11-1 to the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Laurens saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Harden, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI was Harden's first of the season.

East Laurens' record is now 4-9. As for Academy for Classical Education, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Coming up, East Laurens will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Laurens has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will head out on the road to take on East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
